Shipping Overview

We understand that receiving your Aura Candy order quickly and in perfect condition is important. We've partnered with trusted carriers and developed specialized packaging to ensure your premium candy arrives fresh, intact, and ready to enjoy. Our shipping team processes orders efficiently, typically within 24 hours of receipt, and we provide tracking information so you can monitor your delivery every step of the way.

Shipping Methods and Costs

Standard Shipping (5-7 Business Days)

Cost: $8.95 flat rate
Details: Our most economical option, standard shipping uses ground service and typically delivers within 5-7 business days to most locations within the continental United States. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada may take 7-10 business days. Standard shipping is ideal for regular orders when you're not in a rush. Free standard shipping is available on all orders over $75 within the continental United States.

Expedited Shipping (2-3 Business Days)

Cost: $15.95 flat rate
Details: Expedited shipping uses priority services that typically deliver within 2-3 business days to most U.S. locations. This option is recommended during warm weather months (June-September) for chocolate and temperature-sensitive products. Expedited shipping provides a good balance between speed and cost when you need your order quickly but overnight isn't necessary.

Overnight Shipping (1 Business Day)

Cost: $29.95 flat rate
Details: Our fastest option, overnight shipping delivers within 1 business day to most U.S. addresses. Orders must be placed before 2 PM EST to ship the same day for next-day delivery. Overnight shipping is ideal for last-minute gifts, time-sensitive orders, or during hot weather when you want to minimize shipping time for temperature-sensitive products. Weekend and holiday delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to all 50 United States and Canada. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and Canada may take longer and cost more than shipping to the continental United States. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. We're actively working to expand our international shipping capabilities to serve customers worldwide.

For international orders outside the U.S. and Canada, please contact our customer service team at hello@auracandy.com. We'll do our best to accommodate special shipping requests and can provide quotes for international delivery. Note that international orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and fees imposed by the destination country, which are the responsibility of the recipient.

Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days of receipt. Processing time is separate from shipping time. For example, if you select 2-3 day expedited shipping, your order will typically arrive 3-5 days after you place it (1-2 days processing plus 2-3 days shipping). Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day.

During peak seasons like holidays, processing times may be extended. We'll notify you of any delays and work to get your order shipped as quickly as possible. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us to confirm we can meet your timeline. Orders placed before 2 PM EST typically ship the same day, while orders placed after 2 PM ship the next business day.

Free Shipping Offer

We offer free standard shipping on orders of $75 or more within the continental United States. This offer applies automatically at checkout when your order qualifies. Free shipping does not apply to expedited or overnight shipping methods or to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations. Free shipping promotions cannot be combined with other discount offers unless specifically stated.

Shipping During Warm Weather

Temperature is an important consideration for candy shipping. Chocolate and certain other products can melt if exposed to high temperatures. We take several precautions to protect your order during warm weather including using insulated packaging with ice packs, monitoring weather patterns along shipping routes, potentially holding shipments during extreme heat, and recommending expedited shipping during summer months (June-September).

Despite our precautions, we cannot guarantee products won't be affected by extreme heat during shipping. If your chocolate or temperature-sensitive candy arrives melted, please contact us immediately. We'll work with you to replace the order or provide a refund. We recommend selecting a shipping address where someone can receive the package promptly, avoiding delivery to locations where packages sit in heat, and choosing expedited shipping during warm months.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can track your package using the tracking number provided. Tracking information typically updates within 24 hours of shipment. Most carriers provide real-time tracking updates including estimated delivery dates and times.

If tracking information shows your package is delayed or experiencing issues, please contact us. We'll work with the carrier to resolve the problem and ensure you receive your order. If a package is lost or significantly delayed, we'll reship your order or provide a refund.

Delivery Issues

Most deliveries occur without problems, but occasionally issues arise. Common delivery issues include packages marked as delivered but not received, packages delivered to wrong address, damaged packages, and delayed deliveries. If you experience any delivery issue, contact us immediately at hello@auracandy.com or (555) 123-4567.

For packages marked delivered but not received, check with neighbors and building management, look for delivery notifications from the carrier, and wait 24 hours as sometimes packages are scanned as delivered before actual delivery. If the package doesn't appear within 24 hours, contact us and we'll investigate with the carrier and file a claim if necessary.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is refused by the recipient or returned as undeliverable, we'll issue a refund minus shipping costs and any restocking fees once the package returns to our facility. If the return was due to an incorrect address provided by you, you may be responsible for additional shipping costs to reship the order. We recommend double-checking shipping addresses before completing your order.

Address Changes

If you need to change the shipping address after placing your order, contact us immediately. We can often update the address if the order hasn't shipped yet. Once an order has shipped, address changes must be made through the carrier, and we cannot guarantee successful address changes. Providing accurate shipping information at the time of order is the best way to ensure successful delivery.

Shipment Notifications

We send several email notifications throughout the order process including order confirmation when you place your order, shipping confirmation when your order ships with tracking information, and delivery confirmation when the carrier marks your package as delivered. Make sure to add our email address to your contacts to prevent notifications from going to spam.

Signature Requirements

Most shipments do not require signatures for delivery. However, high-value orders or orders to certain locations may require signatures for security. If signature is required, someone must be available to sign for the package during delivery hours. If no one is available, the carrier will leave a notice and attempt redelivery or hold the package for pickup at a local facility.

Weekend and Holiday Delivery

Standard and expedited shipping do not include weekend or holiday delivery. Overnight shipping may include weekend delivery for an additional fee if requested. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day.

Bulk and Wholesale Shipping

For bulk orders or wholesale shipments, special shipping arrangements may apply. Contact our wholesale team at wholesale@auracandy.com to discuss shipping options for large orders. We can often accommodate special delivery requirements, alternative carriers, freight shipping for very large orders, and delivery to commercial addresses with specific receiving hours.
